It started as a trickle a few years ago - so we stocked a few pair of earrings, a necklace or bracelet here or there. Then a trickle became a trend. This year, at the international jewelry trade show, yellow gold was absolutely everywhere you turned. Now let me clarify - we aren't just talking about plain earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces - such basic styles have always remained in demand. Yellow gold had made its way into ALL diamond jewelry categories – from diamond hoops to long diamond tennis necklaces, and even new cutting edge trendy diamond necklaces, rings & bracelets. We quickly realized if we didn’t stock a unique assortment of yellow gold, we would be putting ourselves a step behind in fashion.

The absolute tell all was when yellow gold made its way back into the engagement business - that’s when we knew the yellow gold trend was here to stay for good.

Yellow gold hasn't taken over entirely...not yet at least. White gold is still the most commonly chosen metal, but yellow gold demand continues to steadily increase, and has become almost as popular as white, while minimizing the gap between the two most commonly chosen precious metals.
