NEVER pack jewelry in checked luggage. My rule is "wear it or carry it on" - most airlines will not cover loss or damage, which is more likely to occur in checked luggage.

Take pictures of each piece you bring on your trip. In the event of loss or damage, pictures could become extremely helpful.

Properly pack your jewelry. Use small plastic ziploc bags or jewelry pouches to separate each piece. Pack them inside of a jewelry travel roll or jewelry storage case you can fit into your carry on or purse. You can also use a daily pill box or small sealable snack containers for storage. Straws are also useful for preventing chains from tangling.

Bring a polishing cloth and jewelry cleaner along for easy cleaning during your trip. If you don't have one, just ask for one next time you are in our store!
- Upon arrival, use your in-room safe to store any jewelry you are not wearing.
